Just Like Me Meditation – 20 Minutes
Many times we see others as different than ourselves. We see differences instead of similarities. This causes us to feel less empathetic towards them and we become dismissive and disinterested in helping out when needed.
This meditation allows us to practice seeing others as JUST LIKE US. When we see others as similar to ourselves we develop greater compassion and empathy for them.
This meditation is a wonderful feel good one that enhances the connection we have with the world around us.
Micro Practice: Follow these 3 breathing steps…
- Breathe and be present in with your breath.
- Breathe and say to yourself “This person is just like me, they just want to be happy.”
- Breathe and send them kind wishes.
