This is a meditation that teaches us present moment focus and the skills needed to re-frame our stories to allow us to bounce back from change or challenge.  Trust and acceptance are the key skills we are learning here.  When we accept what has happened and trust that we can learn what we need to in order to move forward, we start shifting our mood and we can move forward and regain our balance.

MICRO PRACTICE:   In our everyday lives we use what we have learned with this meditation by noticing when our mind is not in the present moment and then take 3 breaths…

  1. Breathe to center our selves on our breath.
  2. Breathe to trust our abilities that we will be able to handle whatever comes our way.
  3. Breathe to accept what has happened.
